Step 2 - Receive Your Treatment
Once you purchase a service, we will get you on the schedule. After you receive your first treatment, you’ll begin to see benefits immediately. With each service visit we do an Integrated Pest Management Inspection to monitor the conditions on your property. If there are any areas of concern we will discuss those areas with you and email you a written report for your records.

Hi, Gene here. I have had many requests to do this video. Today is a gorgeous spring day. I’d like to invite you to spend a few minutes with me so we can find out what makes Planet Friendly Pest Control so unique.
For generations, my family has enjoyed this magical place called the Chesapeake Bay and its surrounding ecosystems. And now, I have the pleasure of teaching my grandchildren about this wonderful gift of nature. Our entire service area exists within the Chesapeake Bay estuary system. Products that pest control companies spray around your home can have an impact on this natural treasure. Because of our unique ecosystem, we have many creatures that other areas do not. For example, we have over 93 native species of amphibians and reptiles, over 550 species of bees and butterflies, and over 450 species of native birds. All of these creatures are sensitive to and affected by pesticides. We are very aware of this beautiful ecosystem we all share.
With every service treatment we perform, the technician also does what’s called an integrated pest management inspection and provides a written report when there’s issues or a potential problem. These reports help our clients understand what they can do to mechanically fix pest problems without having to use pest control products. The equipment used by a pest control technician to apply product has a huge impact on the environment. Equipment and product application methods which allow the technician to place a product exactly where they want it to go is critical in maintaining a healthy environment. The goal of our company is to use the least amount of product to provide our clients with a bug-free home environment. Over the years, we have found that if we can do three exterior treatments a season, a spring, a summer, and a fall, it pretty much keeps a home bug-free all year.
A lot of our competitors will do four to six exterior treatments a season along with monthly interior treatments. That’s just a lot of pesticide.
We do not require our clients to sign an annual service agreement. We put the onus on ourselves to provide the highest-level service possible. Our philosophy is quality of service
keeps customers, not contracts.
Continuity of care is critical in helping maintain a bug-free home for each client. Every client is assigned to a specific technician. This is important because every property is unique and over time, the technician becomes aware of the unique issues with each client’s property. This is what enables us to provide the highest level of service. Continuity of care is critical.
A week before each service visit, a reminder is sent to the customer. Also, on the day of the service, the technician will send a text message letting the client know that they’re at the property, and when the technician finishes the treatment, they will send copies of the paperwork by email. Then, the customer can pay online, they can print the invoice, mail in a check, whatever is easier for them. It’s very simple.
